Why
Silk?......... Because Fearon’s uses only
foliage with the highest quality materials and thanks to
masterful crafting, today’s silks are very close to
the rendition of nature. Botanically correct caters to the
consumers desire for more realism in silk trees. We use
foliage with unitized construction (no leaf drop), and a
high gloss finish (polyurethane) is added for a real touch
feel to the leaf. The use of additional color screens show
lifelike veinage and stems have a natural woodlike appearance.
Also combining foliage at various stages of growth, such
as tiny leaves at the tips, simulates new growth, an effective
touch of realism. You can see the difference in quality
by looking at some of the cheaper trees on the market. High
quality leaves have shading for depth of color, and the
thickness of the material used is also very important.
